Summer draw winners announced at our relaunch party - plus pictures!

Thank you to all of you who dropped by the shop on Saturday (August 16) to formally celebrate our relaunch with a glass of Bucks Fizz and some foodie freebies. You can see pictures of the event in the gallery below.

We also used this opportunity to conduct the Summer Shareholders' Prize Draw. Many congratulations to the winners, listed here, who can claim their prize at the till anytime during shop opening hours.

Store chairman David Podd introduced the draw with a few words paying tribute to the community effort to get the shop back thriving in its traditional village location, and to the owner of the building Jan Moore for her vision and generosity.

He also revealed the we had achieved record sales in the first two weeks of trading there. Remember you can keep tabs on the store's finances via monthly statements posted here. The document for July 2025 has just been uploaded.
