It’s time to celebrate! Join us to raise a glass on August 16

Now we’ve settled back into the old village shop it’s time to celebrate this wonderful milestone – and conduct our Summer Shareholders Prize Draw!

Shareholders, volunteers and their partners are warmly invited to our Official Relaunch Event on Saturday, August 16, during store opening hours – 10am to 12 noon.

Plus customers are also welcome to enjoy a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz and sample some of our wonderful food (while stocks last!).

In addition, shareholders can take advantage of a 15% discount on any purchases on the day and witness the Shareholders Draw. As a Community Benefit Society we cannot offer dividends to shareholders but instead hold prize draws in the winter and summer for everyone who owns shares. Prizes range from £150 to £25, plus a food and drink hamper worth £50.

Perranwell Stores Chairman David Podd said: “It has been an historic summer in Perranwell, reopening the community store in the premises of the old village shop and post office. We have done a roaring trade so far and it is thrilling to see this vital asset being appreciated by people in the village and surrounding area.

“It has been an amazing effort by so many people and we want to use this event to say a big thank you to everyone, but in particular to the many residents whose generous investment laid the firm foundations for the whole project. Plus it’s a perfect time to conduct the second of our annual Prize Draws!”

The draw will take place in the shop at 11am.

Please note, the store is open as usual from 10am to 12 noon on the day.
